The circa 1835 distillery shut its doors in 1985, and deconstruction began in 2007. The fourteen buildings located on the site contain over one million board feet of beautiful heart pine, harvested in the early to mid 1800’s. This material was used for everything from engineered oak flooring uk to structural elements and tumbled travertine. In addition to heart pine wood, Bourbon Boards also offers unique items salvaged from the distillery such as handmade wood moulded brick, locally cut Kentucky limestone, original lighting fixtures and other historic memorabilia.
